Privacy by design

Uploads receive generated server-side names and are stored separately from the original filename. A cleanup task can remove temporary uploads and generated files after the configured retention period.

Server-aware processing

The application detects available conversion engines and uses the best supported route: PHP GD or ImageMagick for images, qpdf/Ghostscript for PDFs, LibreOffice for Office documents and rembg for AI background removal.
